(1) An addendum or corrigendum notification to a preliminary notification under Section 4 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 ("Act") has to be issued within a reasonable time, which shall depend on the facts and circumstances of the case.
(2) An addendum or corrigendum to the preliminary notification under Section 4 of the Act cannot be issued after steps have been taken in furtherance of the acquisition proceedings after the issuance of the preliminary notification
(3) The market value of the land as on the date of the issuance of the addendum or corrigendum notification notifying the complete and final land for the purposes of Section 4 of the Act shall be taken into consideration while determining compensation under Section 23 of the Act.
